Yasemin Yasar is an artist and designer-maker specialising in surface design and printed textiles.
Yasemin received a BA Hons degree in Decorative Arts from Nottingham Trent University in 2018. Her work has been shown at New Designers 2018, Nottingham Playhouse and most recently was exhibited at Mint Gallery in September 2018 as part of a group exhibition for London Design Festival. Yasemin also represented the UK in London at the International Grand Final of the SDC Design and Colour Competition in November, 2018 where she secured the grand title of 'Global Runner Up'.
Yasemin is from a small countryside town near Milton Keynes, England where her fondness of wandering in outside spaces started. She uses many mediums such as drawing, painting and print to depict the connections she has forged in natural landscapes and the environments around her.
